Organizational Structure

Our organization is led by a dedicated Board of Directors and a team of coordinators. Each committed to fostering a positive, transparent, and effective basketball program for youth athletes. All board and coordinator positions are elected annually at the end of each basketball season (April) for the next year.

Board of Directors

• President | Jenna Keenan president.tytbl@gmail.com
  • Serves as the primary spokesperson and main contact for the organization.
  • Supervises the board and supports all other positions.
  • Organizes meeting agendas and facilitates each board meeting.
  • Oversees and facilitates try-outs in collaboration with coordinators.
  • Maintains the TYTBL website.
  • Acts as the second signatory (after the Treasurer) on the TYTBL bank account.
  • Holds the TYTBL Venmo account.
  • Attend league meetings with Boys/Girls Coordinator.

• Vice President | Melissa McCarthy VPresident.tytbl@gmail.com
  • Assumes the President’s duties in their absence.
  • Assists with try-outs, skills & drills, and referee coordination.
  • Develops and implements onboarding for new board members.

• Treasurer | Jared Hasfjord
  • Ensures financial transparency and compliance with legal regulations.
  • Manages all TYTBL finances and is the primary signatory on the bank account.
  • Files taxes, tracks player and team payments, and presents financial status at meetings.
  • Coordinates referee payments with the Vice President.

• Secretary | Alison Benitez
  • Ensures compliance with legal and organizational guidelines.
  • Schedules meetings and informs the board of upcoming dates.
  • Records, stores, and shares meeting minutes.
  • Maintains an updated contacts sheet for the board.

Coordinators

• Public Outreach Coordinator | Julia Doherty
  • Manages and updates social media communications.
  • Creates and sends district flyers/emails (skills & drills, try-outs, fundraising information).
  • Oversees updates to the GameChanger app.

• Fundraiser Coordinator | Julie Hazelton
  • Plans, promotes, and administers fundraising opportunities to increase awareness and funding.

• Boys Coordinator | Jeff Ford
  • Serves as the main contact for boys’ team coaches.
  • Schedules practices and reserves home game locations.
  • Coordinates team uniforms and attends league meetings.

• Girls Coordinator | Jessica Verrill/Matt Simmons
  • Serves as the main contact for girls’ team coaches.
  • Schedules practices and reserves home game locations.
  • Coordinates team uniforms and attends league meetings.

• Coach Development Coordinator | Jeff Baumann/Steve Boucher
  • Evaluates, educates, and develops all coaches to meet TYTBL standards.
  • Coordinates tournament participation.
  • Runs tryouts.
